50th Anniversary Trip; Orient Beach living

Liking our room and the amenities here at Residence Adam and Eve. AND now that the  hot tub is back up and running am sure we will enjoy it even more! Joni took a few pics of our room.

Here is a very nice description of Orient Village square by Susi Sahlman: Orient Village by Susi and a few pics by us of the last (real) dinner that we had there.  We took some shots one night at dinner in the Village- L'Atelier was the restaurant. Scallops for her, filet sandwich for me. Outstanding! The last shot is of the Christmas tree here at Adam and Eve, lots of decorating. Including in the square in the Village. The twosome are the wait staff at ours and the adjoining restaurant.  That guy has the best job in the world (even cuter gals in the other direction)!

We had a sandwich at Yellow Sub on Saturday night- chicken n cheese on a bagel. Big and so-so but we were just seeking something simple and filling the night before we left.  They were setting karaoke up when we left but we didn't hang-  a last lounge by the pool felt better. Here are a few more shots that I took of Residence Adam and Eve on 12/21 before we left, the beach (early AM), and a recent update on the strike from the SXM Tourism board.

  1. Great pictures. Now that the blockades are gone will you go over to Cupecoy?

  2. Just stayed in Orient, real cozy there. Thought about hanging at Cupecoy on depaerture day but didn't want to get all sticky plus the luggage issue.
